Hi George: what an excellent class tonight (and really every time)! I don't remember when we started to do the "pause", maybe a couple of years ago, but I really like it. It brings so much more depth to the Qigong moves.
My Mom was here last week for your class, although I worry about her, I was amazed at how flexible she is!! A lot of people in their 50's wouldn't have that range of motion. Also she has no pain, joint or otherwise. I think that's pretty amazing for someone her age.
Of course, it's the Qigong she does nearly every day with the help of a chair to hold on when needed. Looking forward to Tuesday's class!

A year and a half ago, at 89, my father was suffering with severe sciatica, depressed, unable to sleep, and constantly in pain. My cousin Ronaldo introduced him to Qigong and began teaching him once a week.

One of my students, Patricia, celebrated her eightieth birthday September 27, 2025. In August 2024 this retired registered nurse completed a remarkable 500-kilometer cycling challenge in one month to raise funds for Sick Kids Hospital's cancer center in Toronto.
Ten years earlier, Patricia was taking 21 pain pills daily for chronic back pain. After starting my Qigong program, her transformation has been extraordinary. Today, she paints daily, stays active, and continues her practice. As she says, "I do these exercises to stay healthy." Her journey exemplifies the healing potential within each of us.
Cindy spent 27 years as a massage therapist, then became a yoga instructor, Reiki master, and studied therapeutic touch, always seeking the key to true healing. Despite all her training, she had unanswered questions and couldn't find the balance she needed.
When she discovered Qigong, everything changed.

When Jill first discovered 24 Posture Qigong at age 80, she was intimidated. "24 postures sounded a little intimidating," she admits. But she quickly discovered the truth: "24 postures are very easy to learn, easy to do. They're repetitious and you get to do them without thought very quickly."
